The last photo has really great lines. I like the stark differences between the dark floor, the light walls and ceiling, and the jumble in the painting. The framing is really cool, too.
I really like the first one, nice expression. I also really like the one of the stranger you did. I don't really know why, it's just interesting to me.
love the second photo. great composition and facial expression. maybe up the contrast and levels to show more detail in his hair and put more focus on him.
you could boost the contrast in most of the images to bring out the brights. the self-portrait is a keeper with a boosted contrast. the images of your male friend are all interesting (including the distortion), but i just wish they were sharp. did you use a tripod? if you were to reshoot, try to capture the same scenes but make sure that they are sharp. it will make these keepers for sure.
I like the second and last photo. The second photo's composition really draws your eye to the subject since there is so much blank space above him. I like the perspective lines in the last image.
The girl on the couch could be cropped to the stuff on the walls out. A landscape orientation could serve the directional quality as well.
i really like the first photo and the one of the stranger. i like the way the figure is posed, and the location of her laptop and bag, i think it's all interesting. maybe, as you said, some cropping on the sides would make it cleaner.
I like the first one because it has great personality.
ReplyDeleteI really like the lighting and composition of your self portrait. maybe play with the contrast a little bit and see if it makes it even better.
ReplyDeleteI like the nice clean background of the second one.
ReplyDeleteI really like the second photo and your self portrait.
ReplyDeleteThe 5th picture is very different. It is questioning to the viewer where you actually are. This is definitely my favorite.
ReplyDelete#2. His expression and the blank background just make photo.
ReplyDeleteThe first one has the most character, i would crop out a little more of the background on the left though....
ReplyDeleteThe last photo has really great lines. I like the stark differences between the dark floor, the light walls and ceiling, and the jumble in the painting. The framing is really cool, too.
ReplyDeleteI like the first and second because of the subject's personality showing through. Also I like the plain background of the second.
ReplyDelete#1 is hilarious and has great composition. #2 has nice tones and a good composition too.
ReplyDeleteThe first and second are my favorites. I like how big the background is in comparison to the figure in the second, and the first is funny/interesting.

I really like the first photo. I feel like it shows a lot of personality and I like the crop.

ReplyDeleteThe first one is an unexpected composition and it is funny. The self portrait is great too.
ReplyDeleteMy favorites are 1,3, and 6. For six, I would try next time to put the camera even lower or even on the ground for the shot.
